Collectors Club Member's Area

If you are like me and you are going around in circles looking for the Hornby Collector Club Member's Area, here is the link. Bookmark this page once it has loaded since this link seems rather elusive!  You can only access the member's area while you are logged into Hornby.com, and your club membership number has been linked to your login details. The usefulness of this link is that it allows you to download and read back issues of the Collector magazine.

If you have a club membership and you can't get this link to work while logged in, send an email to Hornby customer support.

It is important that your club membership and your login particulars are linked because the shop section will show the club members' discount on selected models.

If you have a Collector Club membership, it is a good idea to check the 'shop' area of the website periodically while you are logged in as the reduced prices do not feature otherwise.

For me the link dosn't work properly.

The link in the post above was created on the old Hornby forum. The Hornby website including the forum was transferred to a new website service provider in March this year 2021 [the post with the link was published in 2020]. In the main, historic link URL's were automatically corrected by the transfer software to display the new page location. For example if you hover your cursor over the link in the top post, you will notice that the displayed 'underlying' URL text is not the same as the URL text displayed in the post in red text.

In the majority of cases, this auto correction as part of the website transfer works fine. However, some parts of the new website structure was completely re-vamped as part of the transfer. The 'Collectors Club' is a case in point. In these few situations, the historic links even after auto conversion remains a broken link.

The 'Collectors Club' is now located in a different part of the Hornby website and the page linked to in the top post may not even exist any more.

I can't say with any surety as to whether the link below is the same page that the OP was linking to, but this is the new 'Collector's Club' location on the website.

When you're on the page linked above, follow the yellow highlighted link to the 'Member's Area' as indicated below in the screen grab. As the OP stated, you need to have your club membership linked to your Hornby/Website account to access the 'member's area'.
