malcolm_pitts Posted September 14, 2020 Share Posted September 14, 2020 Hi folks - has anyone tried to fit a decoder into the latest Big Boy (HR2753)? I'm wanting to do so, and the so-called user manual is just a list of spare parts! It doesn't show how to get into the loco or tender at all. For what these locos cost, you'd think that Hornby could at least supply a set of maintenance instructions. Any help would be much appreciated. 96RAF Posted September 15, 2020 Share Posted September 15, 2020 There is normally a maintenance sheet supplied with each loco, telling how to lubricate and remove bodywork, location of decoder, etc. There isn‘t one listed in the Hornby downloads area yet, so I suggest you contact Hornby Support using the number at the bottom of every webpage and ask if they could send you one.
