Me and my son built an 'airfield' board (4x2) when he was younger - we painted on a runway and taxiway and added static grass.  He built the Airfix control tower to go on it and the Airfix refuellers and ambulance / fire tender kit as well.  He'd then line up his aircraft on it and put the Airfix ground crew figures on there too (although we could never get paint to stick to the ground crew!).  It was a good project to keep him busy on wet afternoons in the winter.

Does any of you, have a big landscape, with models - it could be a specific event of war or something else?

 

i am thinking about building one ;) but what to se if people have done it before :)

Landscapes are usually called dioramas or vignettes for smaller ones.
