Edward-1223874
http://www.shopmotorsport.com/mercedes-f1-w05-hybrid-superslot-3593a^^^I am getting the above F1 Lewis Hamilton Scalextric car. It is not digital, but it is DPR (Digital Plug Ready)I have done some research, and the 'C8516' chip is suitable for F1 cars like this.https://uk.scalextric.com/products/f1-easyfit-digital-plug-c8516If I fit this car with the C8516 chip, will it be able to lane change, pit stop and generally work like a real ARC PRO car if I put it on an ARC PRO track? This is my track FYIhttps://www.jadlamracingmodels.com/scalextric-digital-set-sl7-2018-arc-pro-pit-lane-c7041-4-cars-jadlam-layout/
Andy P.
The only digital products that might cause a problem are the curved lane changer track pieces that have been out of production for over 10 years. All other lane changers, chips, cars etc are compatible with all digital parts. The only thing that will make things go up in smoke is using two powerbases at the same time. :-)Good luck!
