caravanjack
My friend has just built his first circuit. When we tried it with 2 cars everything was perfect. However after about 4 laps the inside track stopped suddenly. It was not caused by the car or controller (proven by swapping things around). The switch on top that corner was set to one 16v. Transferring the transformer supply to the second input allowed the inside track to function with outside track dead. He then bought another Sport Powerbase and had exactly the same issue. I live about 120 miles from him and cannot physically help. Any suggestions as to what maybe the fault will be greatfully received.
Andy P.
Please post a picture of the powerbases. (pictures must be approved so please wait and don't post multiple times) There are several models. It sounds like a loose wire though...
caravanjack
Thank you for your response. As I said, it is my friends set up and we live about 120 miles apart. He has asked the company that supplied the Powerbase and they are going to attempt to sort it out for him. My opinion is that the slider switch is faulty.
