Problem with arc air pace car mode

I have an arc air base and all seems to work well with app, apart from the Pace car mode. When I try to set up pace car, when the car goes round it judders as if the power is going on and off . Then the same happens when you run the car to race it. I use a Samsung S21 phone for the app. Also cars run OK normally with app off and in other modes.

Android devices are a bit more finicky than Apple.

Sometimes deleting and reinstalling the app helps.

Re start it before reinstallation.

Sometimes turning on location services helps.

I have no idea why... but it has been reported..

If that doesn't work try a different device.

Also I think you can set up the pace car in either lane.

Not just the one shown on the app.

Finally, there is a user made APP called "Magic" see if that is any better...

Thanks for the advice

Looking at some other discussions on here about various issues i saw some have suggested the old arc app (LEGACY) so I downloaded that app and it seems to be working OK...weird one.

PS I tried magic and no joy so ill stick with the old one.
