Michael-1213417
Has anyone had experience of one of these. Been offered one but would mean altering my layout a bit & don't want to do that if it's a bit rubbish! Thanks
96RAF
As the box illustration hints at, it looks like there may be a set of roundhouse sections that fit to the outer sectors. Worth investigating as that is a substantial TT.
Rana Temporia
I think the box is a bit misleading, as far as I know the contents are what is shown in the bottom RH corner. The additional sections are/were purchased separately as are the individual sections of the roundhouse, the total cost of which is/was probably more than my house is worth. I’m not sure if the parts are still available as Jouef is part of Hornby and they have substituted a lot of Hornby items including the Hornby track into the range now. If the turntable is working it should be fine. The Jouef track is fully compatible with modern Hornby track apart from curve geometry, the only problem being it’s coated steel. Here is a page from the 1978/9 catalogue showing the turntable in it’s complete form.
Tim M
HiIt will be an auction and website search for extra parts - it definitely has never been made under Hornby ownership (since 2004).Tim
