Rana Temporia
I hope this hasn’t been asked before, I have tried the search function which wasn’t very helpful. I would like to get some of the L&Y (and possibly the Furness Loco) 3D prints off Thingiverse and mount them on some of the spare Hornby chassis that I have in my spares box. The files are free to download but I have no idea where the best place to get them printed would be or how much it would cost. A quick look online at several 3D printing websites just ask for the files and a quote will be by return. Having bought a lot of produced 3D prints the quality has varied from truly dreadful to excellent and i don’t understand the different codes so don’t want to waste money on a rubbish product. Has anyone any experience of doing this or have any idea of costs? All the locos are 0-6-0 tender types.
96RAF
I have no experience of 3D printing but RM-Web forum has a separate section for the subject and may be able to help, even already have the answer.
