Older scalextric

I acquired older scalextric set unused for years for my boy 10 yrs

Cleaned and fixed tracks he enjoyed and done well

2 cars he got them running with little help

But the braids need changing and the power feeds have small brass pins to lock each together seems fiddly

Can't find any video to show the braids being fitted also we not sure if wires from car to pins should be loose or soldered

Have old instructions but this doesn't help

Hi Michael,

There are dozens of of possible combinations.

Could you tell us exactly what kind of cars they are and maybe post a few pictures?
