96RAF Posted March 1, 2023 Share Posted March 1, 2023 For the information of anyone who has or will in the future report a forum post for any reason.The report will appear to the Mods in the same list as image approval.Once there we have few options to deal with it.Either delete the offending post, advise the poster on the forum or do nothing.We have no way of contacting the reporter or reported directly to update them about any remedial action intended or taken.In summary it is not a very good system, but it is all you have, so please keep using it where appropriate.With regard to a recent general report that some members need ‘spoon feeding’ seemingly simplistic and basic information; that is what the forum is for and some allowance has to be made for differing levels of ability amongst members, some may be very young and others may be challenged in various ways, thus requiring more patience than normal. One must learn to recognise the signs and react accordingly.Apologies if this offends anyone but it is in the general interest of the forum to be aware of these matters.This thread is locked from comment.
