If we aren’t willing to check out the particular points decoder to find if it’s self-learning, we should at least ask the OP to do so. The chances of finding anything but an actual 8247 that is not self-learning in this day and age is absolutely minimal. Sorry but a curse on Hornby and all its houses again for not doing a decent job when they did their last 8247 update without making it self-learning too. With emphasis on the again!
