Rallymatt
I am still very happy with my Arnold TT ferry vans but two have developed an irritating quality, the kinematic part of the coupling has started to droop, importantly below the level that most locos and rolling stock work at, it only affects one end of two wagons of 4 but I do like individual shunting and marshalling operations so not hooking up is an annoyance. Not sure if Arnold would accept this as a product failure after 5 months. Anyone else had issues?
ntpntpntp
Has the moving part of the KK fallen out of the V guide slot? Is the centring spring still functioning? Not just an Arnold thing but I do find that with N gauge stock the KK mechanism can become misplaced if a coupling itself is pushed into the pocket too forcefully. It is vital to support the rear of the pocket when changing couplings.
Rallymatt
Thanks Nick, as far as I can see the mechanism is in place but the moulding that is the pocket is drooping. The plastic doesn’t seem to hold it’s memory too well
