Pier supports C133 & C266 compatibility with Scalextric Sport track

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could help me?

I am returning to slot car racing for the first time since the 1990s, and considering buying the Scalextric pier support sets C133 & C266 to expand my layout, but I am unsure whether they are compatible with the current Scalextric Sport track.

I am interested to find out whether it can be used with brand new sets, or if it only works with Scalextric Classic track?

My layout and my cars are both analogue.

The width, length and height of Sport track is the same as the old Classic track (the radii are the same too) so anything that goes on the outside or under the track will fit (e.g. borders, barriers etc).

It is only the surface and the connector that are different.
