Help - Airfix Web Warriors?

Hi folks,

I'm new to the world of Airfix - having just laid my hands on a complete set of Web Warriors from 1999. I'm putting together a video on this very odd, fun little line - and need some expert advice.

I reached out directly to Airfix for any information they had, which led me to the original toys sold in Japan/Korea in 1985-6 under the name Omoroid by Sunny/Nitto. That was about it from Airfix themselves, helpful as it was.

I'm looking for any other information people may have. Scalemates is a good resource for listings but if anyone has information on the inception of the line, perhaps who wrote the bios or anything, to be honest - I'd really appreciate it.

Information is very thin on the ground for the line. I'm just checking in case any Airfixers have any other info they're willing to share.
