modelling techniques

Hi im Ash from Wales.  I'm disabled due to a road traffic accident when i was six years old.  I enjoy model making but I need to be shown how to do certain techniques to make my builds look good.   I use Tamiya cutters to get parts off the sprue, then i use an an emery board to file any left over sprue nubs.  I don't use an airbrush as i only have use of my left hand so i use a paint brush. I use acrylic paint. All i want is a nice simple easy way of model making.  I even want an easy way of brushing on primer and is there an easy way of weathering?
