HM7000 LOCOS LOSE POWER SOON AFTER STARTUP

Recommended Posts

First time on the forum!  I have several HM7000 decoder-equipped Hornby locos that link on the HM DCC app and start up OK with sound and movement - but only move for a few inches and then go dead.  I could understand if it was only one loco or decoder that was behaving like this, but not 3 or 4.  I am using the Hornby AC Adaptor R7337.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Make sure you have updated the profiles as the original versions had this as a glitch - we're up version 4 on most.

Also consider fitting a Powerbanks if not already fitted (not suitable for tt120).

Could this thread please be moved to the HM | DCC forum where it belongs, noting Colin is using a (recommended) DC supply and so no conventional DCC.

I would also change the title by deleting DCC and inserting HM7000 for the same reason as moving it.

Although I suspect this topic will be short as Steve may well have solved it.
