jopres57 Posted April 29 Share Posted April 29 (edited) I think I would prefer to go to war in a Typhoon, it looks like it would be more likely to return after any damage. It's a less expensive aircraft as well so there would be safety in probably more numbers. The Lightning is supposed to be undetectable but a competent enemy would probably find a way. Also, of course, the Typhoon is a better looking aircraft with a large British content, and comes in other colours apart from black. Pretty Mediocre Modeller Posted May 2 Share Posted May 2 from a modelling and peace time point of view I prefer the Typhoon, more interesting markings and special markings, as well as colourful squadron markings, and a nicer, more interesting aeroplane to look at shape wise. However, for a war mission, if I were the pilot, I would rather go in the more advanced F-35, as it would be more survivable (allegedly).
