Brightstar Posted August 11, 2011 Share Posted August 11, 2011 I am not sure what the difference is, except that the DCC power rail does not have a capacitor in it.I would have both power rails installed on the layout, clearly marked, and use the appropriated rail. poliss Posted August 11, 2011 Share Posted August 11, 2011 They look the same, but they aren't the same. The R8206 has a capacitor fitted to prevent interference on television sets.
