Gregd99
I have had a Class 20 running with a R8249 decoder for a while. It was always a little hesitant in its running - ie subtle slow down/speed up - but I was not able to find the issue. I recently change the decoder to an 8245 sapphire. The "hesitation" was now much more pronounced and I wondered what on earth I had broken/jammed. Having read a few posts I decided to set the emf feedback cut-out to 1 (was 128). Lo and behold there is now silky smooth running. The class 20 does not IMO have a very sophisticated mechanism. I think that it is inherited form an old Lima design. Anyway the emf feedback proved more than it could handle. This for info. Greg
