can i change from dc to dcc on my layout, even though i have layed ballast on most of my track, even though i have a small section unballasted at the end of my layout and it would feed all track but the wrong end for me as my layout goes in a L shape and from 1 track to 2 with a junction with sidings, and also can you place the frogs? in the points once layed ect. Hope that makes some sense? Thanks!

If you use power clips or the power connecting track they must be the DCC versions, R8242 or R8241. The standard versions contain capacitors which interfere with the DCC signal although these capacitors can be removed. I think you are confusing DCC point clips with frogs. The frog is the V of the point. DCC point clips can be fitted after the track is laid.
