Given that the same power supply is used (say 15v), then Car A on an analogue track will be quicker than Car A on a Digital layout. This is because the Digital chip uses about 1.5 volts of the voltage arriving from the rails-to-braids-to-chip. What's left goes on forward to the motor. I hope this explains it. Happy Racing!
