r_gordon2
Hi, my son has a starter Grid 24 scalextric set... I bought him some extra track which needed track converters to enable me to use them with the standard grid 24 tracks..it used to work fine, but now for some reason one side of the track stops working over a part of the extra track bought and baffled as to why..pleaseif someone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated thanks. Andy P.
Hi R-Gordon,When you say "converters" do you mean the convert from Scalex Classic (old style with 2 "spoons/loops" on one side) to Scaley Sport (modern with 1 round peg and 1 square peg)?If so you are mixing old and new track which could be an issue.Check out the other thread about conductivity for tips.https://www.scalextric.com/uk-en/forum/connecting-old-analogue-track-to-digital/?p=1https://www.scalextric.com/uk-en/forum/cleaning-scuffed-track/?p=1https://www.scalextric.com/uk-en/forum/better-conductive-connection/?p=1Let me know if that helps.Andy
