ntrocket88
I really enjoyed this excellent new Airfix kit... Finished in British SCC2 Service Drab with SCC14 Blue-Black 'Mickey Mouse' disruptive pattern. The 'Drooper' (rather than Trooper...) nickname is clearly shown in the side view!I converted the included Bedford QLD to a QLB using a conversion kit from Milicast and will post that seperately. cooljules
Nice. I still have it to build, did the QLD last week. When this kit first came out, i phoned up Millicast, to ask them a couple of questions and then, i forget which one waffled on and on and on about the history etc of the real thing. Quite interesting actually, although i didnt understand half of what was said due to the scottsh accent lol.The QLD i did, i wanted to show off the stowage and couple of sat figures in the rear so sliced up the canvas top part to get to the framing for top, and then made the 6 vertical frames
Sgt.Squarehead
Very nice indeed, the camo scheme looks spot on and the weathering is very convincing too.
