When using flexi track did you use a template or other method to ensure your radius didn't come tighter than say a radius 3 curve?

I am starting again from scratch but this time with P*co Code 100 Semi-Flexi, just ordered my first 16 lengths (although not got new layout boards done yet). I know it is a DCC point but with flexi track 3' long, I won't need as many droppers from the rails either.  ;o)

Mmm seems like this question still has no answer after some nearly 8 years what hope do I have. That’s a real shame. I see the Kato 20-210 is an option but did not want scissor or slips as it’s a complication that distracts the area being modeled. Well might have to get creative.
