David12
I have just downloaded and installed v1.66 and now the program will not launch at all. I get a windows 10 error message telling me that I do not have permission to access the program. I have tried to reset read/write attributes but cannot get permission. Basically, I am stuck.. HELP! WilliamDavid
On both of my Windows 10 tablets a Windows Defender message popped up blocking its opening. The panel allowed me to override this, and launch proceded. I don't know if it is related to your problem.
St1ngr4y
Did you do the installation of RM logged in as an Administrator on the pc? Ray
David12
I followed the link from within RM advising that an update was available so, probably not with administrator rights. Anyhow, because it is a new PC solely dedicated to RM, I have uninstalled the dreaded McAfee as advised as a last resort in the RM Internet Security Guide and reinstalled v1.66. It now works perfectly. Thanks for the help.
96RAF
I often get overprotective Winodes warnings that do not have any obvious carry on regardless option, but it is there in 'More', where you can tell it to do it anyhow.Rob
