96RAF
Just use RM to read the decoder on a length of programming track, then if its not the address you want write a new address or just write your preferred address anyway, although it is advisable for any 'unknown' decoder to write value 8 to CV8 to put it back to factory default standard, then you have a known starting point for each and every CV value.Rob
RDS
If it is just DCC ready (rather than DCC fitted), it will not have an ID.
RDS
Hi 258rpI have just been looking at your previous posts and it seems that the DCC ready or DCC fitted situation was mentioned back in September. Is this the same Loco that you were referring to in those posts? 96RAF
I missed the DCC Ready bit (again). As RDS says it needs a decoder fitting first.Rob
