kevindelve
Hello all, can anyone help me again.I am in the process of installing a TTS sound chilp on a DCC ready Tornado. The leads seem a tad on the short side, which is not really a problem, I can extend the ones to the speaker. My question is, where do I site the chip?RegardsKevin

Howbi
There is a reasonable space in the Tornado for the TTS decoder and a Sugar Cube speaker in the space below the chimney.........there are several SC speakers available that are of a suitable size, ie 15mmx11mmx9mm........look at these....... http://www.youchoos.co.uk/Index-Shop.php?L1=Speakers ........HB/media/tinymce_upload/87b2d0f9f1d8a417812b354f7532656c.jpg
kevindelve
Thank you for your help.I have installed the chip and speaker, the railmaster software has found the loco but it seems that I have to assign the sounds to each function myself. Should this be preset?Kevin
mjb1961
Hi ,,,,if you have installed a Tornado TTS decoder into a NON TTS Tornado and selected that Tornado in railmaster then it might not ,,,,but ,,,if you have selected the TTS Tornado ,,in blue ,,then I would say that yes ,they should be pr-set ,,
