I prefer the livery, the eyes and the black handrails along the boiler, to the original R9257 Spencer released in 2008. I will still keep the 2008 Spencer. The reason for this topic, is that the product number on my Spencer is the following: Top Line on Sticker: SK101-89822Lower Line on Sticker: R9749-18-963 I just wondered if anyone else as an R9749 Spencer, with a diffferent batch number on the sticker, or if as this loco was only limited to 1,000 models only, if Hornby would have churned out all 1,000 in one batch? if anyone has a differentt batch numbered box, I would be interested in finding out this.
