Craigbc
I can’t seem to get the false start/reaction time to work. Any ideas.
woodcote
Can you tell us which ARC powerbase you are using? Is the finish line working? Thanks.
Andy P.
ARC ONE/AIR and PRO all handle the drag race slightly differently. We need more info...

Craigbc
I’m using arc air pro, finish line works most of the time
Andy P.
Either you have ARC PRO (digital) or ARC AIR (analog) whereby the ARC PRO acts the same as ARC AIR in analog mode.False starts are only recorded when the Start mode is set to "Live". BN_Racer
I having the same problem. I have ARC One. Is there no jump start or reaction time? The finish does work. That’s it.
woodcote
Hi BN_Racer. It is a while since I used ARC One, but I seem to remember that there is no false start detection on the drag race mode. That’s probably because the ARC component of the power base is a passive lap counter - there’s no two-way control of the track power as there is with ARC Air and Pro. It looks like it should - there Is the throttle bar in the app display - but that seems to be mere window-dressing. The reaction time on a standard race in ARC One is the time between the green light and the car triggering the powerbase sensor. I guess the only work around is to have a clear drag strip start line and a third person to adjudicate - or to video the start. That might make the drag race even more tense!
