paul_harness
I have 2 Hornby B17 locos and fitted both with TTS decoders R8106 and the running speeds are very different. (Yes, I realise the decoders are for class A1/A3 but there's nothing out there for a B17 yet).1 is an R2922X (BR class B17) which runs at a realistic speed from shunting speed up to express. The other is the newly released R3588 (LNER class B17) which crawls along, even at full speed.I have swapped over the decoders, reset CV8 to 8, and tried to set CV5 to 255 (which won't work using an Elite), but nothing seems to speed up the R3588.Any suggestions? dynax
have you run them in first on dc,
paul_harness
Yes; do a running in for every loco on DC. The R3588 LNER B17 ran like a rocket under DC (as did the BR version), but now under DCC (using Railmaster / Elink) it looks like it's shunting when it should be at top speed. Howbi
On the slow one, change CV150 to 1 (default is 0) this uses a different motor control algorythm (see notes).......HB
