I have used a R2806 power track for DCC operation (no problems as yet)I read that R 8214 Power Track is for DCC Like to run DC and DCC on this track What should be the answer ? R8214 is the Elite controller.You can use your R8206 on a digital track just by flipping open the cover bewteen the rails and snipping out the capacitor found there.Theres a picture on here somewhere but I can’t find it.Rob Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Flashbang Posted April 14, 2018 Share Posted April 14, 2018 Yes you can use the power track section (or even the plug in power connector clip) once the capacitor has been removed with either system DC or DCC. Note; On no circumstances allow a DC controller to be connected to rails that a DCC system is connected onto. One or both systems will suffer possible terminal damage if allowed to mix!
