dabhand
I haven't done figures since .....Bought a set of 1/35 French, German and British 1914-18 figures and very nice they are too!I use humbrol paints and would like to ask opinions on an appropriate colour match for British Khaki and French Horizon Blue.I think H26 calls itsef khaki, but it's very brown and my impression of the uniforms that I've seen in the Imperial War Museum seemed more green. The model manufacturers suggest a pale green, but I'm not sure about that. Having spoken to an enthusiast who was dressed in an Horizon Blue uniform, it did look, well, very definately light blue! But the H65 is too light and too blue. And H97 is too dark. Any suggestions? I'll bet that there are specialist paint manufacturers who have apt shades, but I thought I'd ask first. Thanks! Kenneth ONeill
H26 calls itself "khaki", but yes it's a "khaki brown" where what you want is a "khaki green".
