Railmaster thinks I have an Elink

Recommended Posts

This is something new, for the last few days when I start Railmaster I get a warning that I have the Elite set as my controller (which is the case) but Railmaster has detected the controller as an Elink and may not work correctly.

Has anyone else had this?

It is very strange as I have never owned an Elink.

Ian.

Do you perhaps have two controllers selected A and B by mistake.

If not check your A settings are for the Elite and that your .ini file is not asking for any Contr2 checks. It may be doing the 5-second check in thing.

Just to add a bit more clarity to Rob's reply.

.

Open the .INI file editor (COG icon in Help screen) look for and delete if present:

Alternative comms2=n where n can be a 0 or 1

Check controller2=n where n can be a 0 or 1

.

DO NOT delete the similar entries that don't have the 2 in them.

.

Make sure that Controller B is shown as "none" in this RailMaster screen and the 'Controller A' has the correct entries for an Elite.

.

Once all these changes have been completed, close and re-open RM before testing for correct operation.
