woodcote
Hi Dan - welcome to the forum! Wow, that's good going - sounds like the ew set has had plenty of use! The motor replacement for the in-line cars like the Porsche RSR is this one: https://www.scalextric.com/uk-en/shop/spares-accessories/motor-pack-in-line-with-10mm-shaft.html Motors don't last for ever, even with careful use. However, they do burn out quicker if the gears and axle aren't smooth, causing the motor to work harder and heat up. It's worth checking for hairs, carpet fibres and 'fluff' around the gear and axle - and removing any with some tweezers - you'll need to remove the top of the car to do this. If the gear feels a little stiff when you turn the rear wheels by hand, then it's also possible the motor or axle bearing have been pushed up. When the body is off is a good time to have a look and push them back. Likewise, it's a good opportunity to add a drop of oil to the gear and to each of the rear axle bearings. There should be more info and diagrams in the set instructions on how to do all this. Hope that helps.
