GWR 77 Posted February 21, 2019 Share Posted February 21, 2019 I have just fitted two locomotive with dcctts sound chips. When I put the loco on my test track l turn on the sound it canome on. But when I set the loco to run the wheel turn about an1/8 to1/4 revilution and stop, sound shuts off. I am run the system from railmaster. Which reads and seems to programs the decoder with no problem. I have clean the wheels and test track. This same problem has accurred with both loco one with a castle decoder and the other murchant navySHas anyone got any ideas as to what may be going on. 96RAF Posted February 21, 2019 Share Posted February 21, 2019 Which make and model are these locos.It sounds like the decoder is struggling to cope with the motor load when you open the throttle.Did the locos run OK before you installed the TTS decoders.
