81F
Having been brought up on DC control I'm not too Confident with DCC so I would like some opinions before I try experimenting.I need to detect a train as it enters a section. Could this be schieved by wiring a bulb in series with the running rails? When no loco is present the circuit will be open (no light) but am I right in thinking that once the loco is in the section the circuit will be closed (even if the loco is not moving therby turning on the light. My reason for not trying it yet is that I do not want to fry either Chip, loco od elite.Any thoughts? Gregd99
that's a good site Poliss. A good comparison of options presented in a way that is (hopefully) not too daunting for those starting out.
