Stokeyboy
Hi all. Just need a piece of advice on the programming facility on the Elite. Need to set up a small piece of track to test two dcc locos I have recently purchased second hand. I have a digital track piece which I have never used which will be ok for one piece. Lots of wire available to me without buying anything special. What would you recommend to use as a stop gap facility. The thin lamp wire has been suggested at 5 amp capability. Any more suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers. Ps Have not set up my bus or droppers yet!!.
Chrissaf
5 Amp wire is more than adequate and could be considered overkill. Programming current is greatly reduced by the controller compared to the running track output..The recommended track dropper wire is 7/0.2mm and rated at 1 Amp. So 5 Amp wire is as stated more than required.

2e0dtoeric
A more informative title would help you to find it again later. Something like - Programming track wire.
