`how to stop engine on turntable?

I have difficulty stopping engines on the turntable

Do you mean stopping the loco itself on the TT bridge track, so that it doesn't overhang the end?

OR

Do you mean stopping the TT bridge itself at the correct location when a loco is on it being turned?

If its trouble stopping the loco on the bridge - have you got your decel rate set high i.e. for prototypical heavy train slow stopping, if so then adjust CV4 to a lower value say 5 for light engine work or if your decoder supports it select Shunt mode (which is different from the shunt speed button in RM).

Surely stopping a loco on a turntable is exactly the same as stopping it anywhere. Nice and slow then stop.
