KS1978
Hi, just started to get back into model trains. Have bought some second hand models from a well known auction site. To add to my childhood collection.I have bought the hornby london 2012 Olympics class 395 javelin.Completely my fault, but I havr not noticed that the dummy car and the coach do not have the ends on then. Epic fail on my part. Does anybody know if you can get these as spare parts. Or am I going to have to scratch build the ends. Any help advice. Appreciated. 96RAF
These ends have very fragile clips to hold them on to the body which break easily. I have had to glue mine in as spares are unavailable.
Iliketransport
As far as i'm aware none available but worth trying a auction site (e8ay) and Peters Spares

ff2nd
If you do have to glue the end on, instead of using Superglue itself, use Humbrol Clearfix. Takes up to 24 hours to go off, so needs to be left in that time. However, it has the great advantage that, if you need to remove the body, when you put pressure on it, the Clearfix will snap, and the end will come straight off the coach.
