gasway Posted January 11, 2020 Share Posted January 11, 2020 hi everyone,i appear to have a problem with my tts sound fitted class 66 hornby engine.All the sounds work fine,but the loco has started to run very badly.it just seem to stutter now,if it actually moves at all. 96RAF Posted January 11, 2020 Share Posted January 11, 2020 If the wheels and track are clean and the pickup wipers are Ok, touching the wheel backs and not got fluff in them, then the loco or decoder is likely faulty. Rog RJ Posted January 11, 2020 Share Posted January 11, 2020 Make sure the wheels and track are thoroughly clean before anything else. Cleanliness is probably the most common cause of poor running, but you may have a motor or decoder fault if the sounds still work ok while the loco is moving.
