gorny
Hi guys I have a Hornby 87 ( brittania ) with fitted Howes 8 pin sound however when starting off and stopping its very jerky but fine when up to speed. Anyone have any ideas on how to rectify this. Thank you Alan
Fishmanoz
Have you checked the features available around decoder CV adjustment concerning speed curves or motor algorithms? If available, an alternative setting may work better. TTS decoders often need such adjustments.
gorny
I'm not too sure of the Howes CV speed list. I was going to ask first before changing settings like the 128 speed settings. Yes I've changed settings in tts before but not a Howes decoder
Fishmanoz
128 v other numbers of speed steps won't be it, should leave at 128. It will be a speed curve or motor algorithm setting. Ask Howes?

Howbi
Don't Howes use ESU LokSound decoders?..........if you look up the ESU website you can find the manual to download for the particular model of Loksound decoder you have...........HB
