  1. So if I buy a bluetooth decoder..(if available ) download the appropriate app (if available )then I'm good to go running a dcc train on my layout. The dongel sounds a great idea for my existing fleet. Exciting times. Sorry for all the questions ...just getting to know new tech...thank you Alan
  2. So to clarify ..if my layout is dcc (which it is) then I need the forthcoming hm7000 bluetooth unit . I get my currant decoders wouldn't work on the new system but intrested on the information on using the app if I use the hornby elite which I do use for my layout. Thank you for clearing this up Alan
  3. Hi...my layout is dcc snd seen the new hornby hm 6000 and 6010 units. After some research to me the 6000 is a function unit to power points, signals etc while the 6010 is for standard analogue operation with a bluetooth decoder. I'm a bit confused by this...so this won't work my dcc trains with a new Bluetooth decoder. Can you clear this up for me....thank you Alan.
  4. Hi I bought it and I noticed it was cracked when I ran it as it was fouling the wheels. I have glued it countless times but they just seem lose and when I try to reglue it when I eventually try to push it back into place it just breaks again. . Unfortunately I bought it off eBay.
  5. Hi. I have a Hornby class 60 in colas livery with DCC sound but the bogies keep falling off around the wheels. When I tried to fit them they snapped trying tomput them on. I ordered a spare and the exact thing happened. It's the thin bar at the front. Is this a common problem with this loco.
  6. Hi guys just as it says in the headline. I have a loft layout with a terminus station and just feel like I have to park things up to move things about. Usually I just go up and run the odd train around but as we,re all laid up now due to covid 19 I would like to try and put in practice some sort of realistic running session. Any ideas or tips ?.
  7. I'm not too sure of the Howes CV speed list. I was going to ask first before changing settings like the 128 speed settings. Yes I've changed settings in tts before but not a Howes decoder
  8. Hi guys I have a Hornby 87 ( brittania ) with fitted Howes 8 pin sound however when starting off and stopping its very jerky but fine when up to speed. Anyone have any ideas on how to rectify this. Thank you Alan
