Avro Lancaster B.III (Special) The Dambusters 1:72

Looks a very good clean build Ron. And although as with most new tools where the parts count is higher, so long as you follow the instructions there should be few pitfalls.

And I have 2 Lancs in my stash that I really must get round to doing!

This  kit was a gift from my wife when I got back into modelling 2 years ago. I was reluctant to start it because I though it was too complex for me at the moment. It was however an easy kit to build and went together well. Care must be taken when pushing the wing spars through the fuselage but that's about the most difficult part. I decided to build it 'wheels up and the only bad fit on the kit is the closed undercarriage doors,a minor niggle. Primed with Ultimate grey primer an top coated with Tamiya acrylics . Finished off with Humbrol gloss varnish for the clean look./media/tinymce_upload/3244d4745bdbd90f351c8bd9aea3f626.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/6f767ecc6d771fd918e55cce41df294a.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/82137ff4975f84de16cf0d14249c590f.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/940ccfa4c2a0657b5843c28561e27d20.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/96ce173188e51796b8100370fb4e129f.jpg
