I see in the product descriptions thet are all listed as manual operation. Be a shame if you have to stretch over your layout to switch a signal on the other side of the board. Chrissaf Posted November 26, 2020 Share Posted November 26, 2020 Personal view, but I consider Hornby Semaphores to be over-sized and to me seem nearer 0 gauge scale. Again in my view, they don't seem particularly realistic in appearance either. By the time that you customise the signal to add motors and DCC control systems it is probably easier to buy 'ready to run' products. The market leaders for motorised Semaphore signals are Dapol and the market leaders for DCC Decoders designed from the outset to support Dapol signals are Train-Tech SCx range of decoders.
