I have an A4 and Princess TTS that has a circular speaker, and I have a Class 50 and Class 37, the latter has the same speaker as the steam locomotives but the former, the Class 50 has a rectangular speaker. 96RAF Posted November 27, 2020 Share Posted November 27, 2020 There are three standard speakers, round, large oblong and small oblong for Class 08 shunter.Which one you get depends upon the design on the loco.Check the product pages for TTS retro kits to see which loco decoder has which speaker.You can buy the standard speakers but many folk prefer to replace them with better quality speakers, but if you do make sure the replacement is 8-ohms impedence and capable of handling 1watt.
