RailMaster download link

Recommended Posts

At this time, I don't think the link will come back in its original form. The reason being that historically it was added as a 'user request' via a previous Hornby staff forum Administrator who no longer works for Hornby.

Other 'user generated' content on the forum has also gone in the site move.

Back to your question. There is still a link to the RailMaster download on the Hornby website, it just isn't on the forum pages. You can find the download link here:

Railmaster Copy – Hornby Support

Alternatively, you can create your own dedicated download 'Bookmark' in your browser using this direct download link:

http://www.rail-master.co.uk/rm_setup.exe

The link above will always download the very latest available copy of RailMaster as it is a link to the master RailMaster software located on the HRMS [RailMaster Developers] server.

This link provided by forum member P-Henny allows download of a zip file rather than an exe file and may be easier to get past Windows security on some platforms. If the live link below does not work, copy and paste the raw text below it into your browser.

To change .com to .co.uk due to HRMS server change.

The current RailMaster version is:

Version 1.74.5 Released: 30th September 2021

Note that this latest 1.74.5 version released by HRMS on 30th September should fix the BUGs found in versions 1.74.3 and 1.74.4

Please note that Railmaster has changed their servers and any ref to .com in both the documentation and on this forum should be treated as .co.uk instead.

HRMS will be updating the application and associated documentation to accord with the long awaited big update, but in the meantime please be aware that the in app Help screen form also has the wrong address, so if you need to make contact with them use direct email.

The server change also affects the downloads link, so change that manually for now, until I get round to trawling for and changing all the forum listed ref-outs.
