Arty1707822014
I have wired two two Hornby signal lights into my HM6010, on pressing the open button the light flashes green three times and shuts off , on pressing close the light flashes red three times and shuts off , why are they not staying lit?? I have wired the red , green and black into the HM6010 as per instructions.
Chrissaf
The HM6010 outputs default to 'pulse' operation to operate points. The outputs also produce more than one pulse to make point switching more reliable. It sounds as if you have not correctly configured the HM6010 port output for 'signal' operation yet as you are seeing the lamps on the signals flash which indicates the output is still pulsing as per the default HM6010 output configuration. In the manual extract below, the four ports on the left hand image are all showing the label 'Point'. The ports on the left hand image that you are using for the Hornby signals and have wired your signals to, need to show the label 'Signal' as chosen via the right hand image. 96RAF
Set the channel to Signal in Settings - Edit Devices - Your 6010 module - and the operating screen will say Red Off Green.Open and Close is a dead giveaway that you have it set as a point.
