Elite repair

Just to inform users of the forum of my experience with the customer care repair team. I managed to break the no.2 button on my Elite console and after e-mailing the team I sent my console back to Hornby for repair. It was returned in just a few days,

 

repaired and the software updated along with a printout of instructions. No charge was made and I consider that excellent customer service. Well done Hornby!

not bad. a broken button could well have been considered as "due to unreasonable treatment" with a corresponding lengthy discussion.

 

sometimes it is cheaper and happier for everyone one to do "a bit more" rather than "a bit less".
