Hi all, I have this existing layout its 1200m x 2500mm

I've had to move and before putting it back together I thought I would ask for some feedback on design/operations etc. I model not particular period. My locos are

Hornby A4, A1 with TTS

Bachmann 20/3, 37, 45/0, 57 & 66 all with sound I use z21, and Hornby point Clips with great success and a z21.

All the locos get around the track well even the 1st radius ones.

Any questions for design change would be greatly appreciated, open to purchase new track etc.

I would extend the two outer sidings as far as possible, make the right hand sidings into a four road three platform station, using the other siding for an engine shed, then make the left hand sidings into a two road single platform station via a Y point and two standard points and the existing track there into an R1 reverse loop, which will require special wiring considerations. If space allows make all other main loops curves radius plus 1, i.e R1 becomes R2, R2 becomes R3 and R3 becomes R4.
