Alessio
Sorry if this has already been asked! Has the date been set for Hornby’s 2022 Range Announcement? It’s usually around 6th Jan isn’t it?

ColinB
This one could be interesting seeing as a great deal of last years locos didn't make it. Be interesting to see if there are any more Hornby Dublo locos and whether the loco with smoke makes it.
96RAF
And loco detection . . . . . .or will we see much vapourware.
maw78
Hope it ain't being announced by whoever said the azuma would be arriving in time to put under the xmas tree or else we'll be in for a long wait lol
ColinB
It will be interesting to see if the pre orders decrease next year, as most people will probably have list of items that they ordered at the last announcement and have still not received. ColinB
On a more serious note if Hornby wants to make serious money a Hornby Dublo A4 Dominion of Canada would be a good bet. The old versions seem to fetch very high prices, so an updated version with a metal body should do extremely well. Plus the existing A4 is very good so it is just a change of body material so minimal investment.
atom3624
So as a new marketing ploy, might this mean that the Schools, D16, J15, J36 and Pecketts will all become Hornby Dublo items, having metal boilers, so they can charge yet-higher prices for the same locomotive?Wouldn't put it past them the way they've been 'marketing' lately!Imagine a metal-boilered H-D Hush Hush - set the list price at £280, undercutting the profiteers on that auction site ... ??Limited Edition run of just 5,000 perhaps .... (yes, I know!)Al.
atom3624
How about a die-cast Class 56 diesel?2kg door-stop, but wouldn't it be smooth, if it could actually get moving?Al.
Alessio
I’m hoping for another Industrial that isn’t a Peckett but I’ve got little faith that we’ll see much brand new stuff actually delivered. The SECR E2 re-issue, which was meant to be out in Q3 this year, should have been a simple and relatively achievable release but even that is nowhere to be seen as far as I can tell. DarkRedCape
I’m with Alessio, I would love to see more small industrials, especially an updated GWR 0-6-0PT. This is easily one of my absolute favourite locos.
